Pembrokeshire Advocacy staff:

Pete Sheila Pam


1. Peter Irvine - Pete is now working as an IMCA with MAP but he is still involved with Pembrokeshire Advocacy where he is co-ordinating a project called my.advoc8.  This project is training 5 young people with learning disabilities to become peer advocates for others. This accredited training is being delivered in collaboration with Pembrokeshire College and is funded by the Big Lottery Fund.

2. Sheila Morgan - Crisis advocate Sheila graduated in 2006 from Trinity College, Carmarthen with a degree in Social Inclusion & Education. She has a particular interest in family work within the advocacy project.

3. Pamela Evans – Project Co-ordinator Pamela worked as a crisis advocate and self advocacy worker before becoming the Project Coordinator in December 2006. She has previously worked professionally in Health and Social Care for over 15 years.

4. Karen Chandler - Karen started work Pembrokeshire Advocacy in May 2009 as a crisis advocate. Previously Karen worked for Theatr Fforwm Cymru where she worked with disadvantaged children and adults to produce social drama pieces which told their stories. Karen is also facilitating our Parents Project.

5. Gethin Morris - Gethin volunteers with Pembrokeshire People First, the Men's Group, the Parents Project and my.advoc8.

6. Sharon Jordan - Sharon volunteers with us in the office and with the groups. Sharon also works as a Citizen Advocate and has become an invaluable member of the team. Sharon's photo appears with some members of the Family Group on the Self Advocacy page of this website.
